Hazel from Watership Down is my 2nd favorite fictional character of all time.
I stumbled across this wonderful simple little illustration from artist Leigh Stein and found myself immediately drawn back into the story’s end.
It is sad. But not sad.
The Black Rabbit Of Inlé is much like Anubis in that respect.
And Hazel very much deserved to join his owsla.
