I soooo love Herbie Flowers’ bass on Lou Reed’s “Walk on the Wild Side”.
I myself have taken many a walk on the wild side in my younger days and while I would love to think the wild side would still be walkable, I think I know better.
It is dangerous for The Olds to walk sometimes, let alone walk on the wide side of things.
The kids say “Hey Nala… come take a walk on the wild side.” And Nala replies “Have you seen this list of shit I have to do?”
