One of the great more recent things that Death Cab for Cutie has done is release a (mostly) acoustic version of the entire “Asphalt Meadows” album.

Some of the songs work so well in this format, especially this version of “Rand McNally”.

“I Miss Strangers”, “Fragments From the Decade”, and “Here to Forever” work well too.

Oh hell. The whole album works in a more acoustic-focused delivery.
