A truly beautiful illustration of Theseus and the Minotaur from the book Myths and Legends (1964).
I have obviously seen many illustrations by Alice and Martin Provensen over the decades but never attached the artists to the work.
They were incredibly productive during their careers.

There’s a 1968 piece titled Tale from the Ballet that I would die to have as a lithograph in my upstairs hallway!
