I must admit I like the minor redesign of the Silver Age Aqualad for the 2008 Teen Titans Year One story.
Garth never really had much presence anywhere, no matter what story he appeared in from the 1960 to the 2000s.
DC tried to give him magic powers and such but he’s just not one of those characters that really seems to have ever clicked, no matter how hard the writers have tried.
The 2nd Aqualad that appeared in Young Justice during the Modern Age definitely seems to have had more going on and become more popular than Garth ever did.
But I really love this version and this appearance.
Karl Kerschl really has a knack for drawing kids.
