The forms are striking. The geometric lotus flowers create a great pattern throughout.
If you don’t know, according the the story, Set killed his brother Osiris and dismembered the corpse up into various pieces. Osiris’ sister-wife Isis and sister Nephthys gathered up the remains and Anubis reassmbled and mummified the body.
This is why Anubis lords over funerary rituals and was protector of graces as well as being a primary Kemet psychopomp.
