This is an odd one for me. A wonderful (as always) Pérez cover, and yet I have ZERO memory of this issue at all.
I know for certain I never picked it up or saw it, and based on that cover date, that was the weeks leading up to my going to college, so I have to assume that I had already left working at the comic shop by then. (It was 37 years ago… my brain isn’t what it used to be on the small trivial details anymore.)
I’ve added it to the list of things to read digitally, but it seems like it has 8 artists working on it. I usually do not like when art duties are broken up in stories, but I see that Kelley Jones and Ty Templeton did some pages so hopefully the story doesn’t feel disjointed with so many art styles.
Very much loving Kory being “attacked” by Komand’r and that bottom show of Garth being attacked (or whatever) by the original Doom Patrol is great! I love how Larry Trainor’s Negative Man face and energy was incorporated into this.
