So I’ve been catching up with Ye Olde Tubes of You and watched Frankie Fey‘s “The Freakiest Internet Art Iceberg Explained [Part 1]” this morning.

She covered a lot of interweb meme history that even I was not aware of given that my net spaces don’t always cross over with other more bizarre areas in the great Venn Diagram of my interweb life.

At 57:25 in (yeah, it is a long one), she goes into Mpreg / Yaoi and major kudos to her for using the Beautiful Boys Eros Eruption ultra from The Fractured But Whole!!!

She doesn’t’ mention Creek in anyway though. I did not know about “yaoi hands” and never came across it in my own researched for my upcoming video. (Then again, it has no bearing on my essay.)

I am very much looking forward to her Part 2 and most definitely to Part 3 as she deals with what will no doubt be the worst of the worst. And I know that in 2025 I barely peeled the first layer off the onion.
