My never ending quest to find beautiful modern interpretations of Anubis lead me to this beautiful 2014 illustration from artist Reimena Ashel Yee.
I love how flat it is. I especially love the coloring and the implied textures from the coloring choices.
Of course, one illustration lead me down yet another rabbit hole.
Reimena Ashel Yee’s produced quite a few illustrated books.
She’s amazing.
She’d be a perfect illustrator for my yet-to-be-published series of children’s books.
