As many know, back in the day I used to be a massive Transformer collector with a then moderately read and followed TF Collector Blog. I still have about 3900 figures spanning different eras/lines that I will purge one day, but I haven’t been active in that community/fandom for about 15 years now.
Anyway, I have a personal rule that I can no longer purchase any dust collectors unless they are of my all-time favorite character the Decepticon Shockwave.
I’ve had a mad on and stanned the Purple One since he was released and my cousin got him for Christmas!
Anyway, until today I was not aware that a knock-off 3rd party called BingoToys has a version of Shockwave called BT-01 Silencer.
He stands at 11.8 in.(30cm) and isn’t too bad looking.
His alt mode appears to be “miscellaneous thing” but the bot mode has some nice touches.
He’s not cheap. And I am unemployed.
But… I think I kind of need him.
