One of my favorite YouTube channels, Fall of Civilizations, finally dropped the 5 1/2 hour TV-friendly version of “Persia – An Empire in Ashes”. (The podcast versions have a static image, and would cause massive burn-in on my plasma TVs!)
Time to get my Achaemenid Empire freak on!!!
Really. You should subscribe! His material is perfect for background listening and is great, covering so many ancient and other civilizations from antiquity.
I can only hope that if I every get around to doing some of the history essays I want to do, I’m 5% as great as this channel is!
