I’ve been out of comics buying for 15+ years now so none of the talent that has come up during that period is familiar to me in either work or name.
This Storm piece came up on Bluesky in my feed this morning and I was blown away by it.
Mahmud Asrar‘s work is amazeballs!
He states it is mixed media on watercolour paper and enlarging it, you can so much texture and in the piece.
Definitely going to dig deeper into his portfolio!
